Coelacanth SWS (Submersible Weapons Systems) are fully automated (sometimes crewed) and their hull strength and weapons systems provides great support for X-Com troops at all depths. Coelacanth Tank is equipped with a Gas Cannon and it is powerful against enemy infantry.

Cost: 700 credits
Armour: Heavy
Health: 300
Weapon: Gas Cannon
Ammunation: Solid Harpoon Bolts

Its cute. Looks a lot like the old Lego Aquanauts units from 1995... Did you base it at all on those?

Yeah, all tohes bright orange subs and stuff. It does remind me of them, especially the domed front window.

Pretty much. It would be much easier that way, really.

Anyway, I like it. It looks, just like it felt like in the game... up untill I learned what I can't use its weapon above the water (I got the torpedo version).

If you play (the real) X-Com 2: TFTD they won't be too big anymore... #Tongue

Ooo, I remember some of the Lego Aquanauts units, they were quite sweet, but nope, these are not based on Legos. Link: http://www.xcomufo.com/usopaedia/pics/big/shot0011.png

Very likely, they'd have better quality as SHP format. However, I might not make tilt frames for them...

The whole reason we have the voxels is that they can tilt on slopes. SHP vehicles don't have tilt frames, even if you wanted to make them.

Ah, I see. The discussion about SHP vehicle tilting at the Reign of the Steel might have confused me a bit...

TFTD didn't had tilting, so it can be said that the mod sticks to the original quiet closely. #Tongue

This unit has been finished and SHPized. Soon I'll post some in-game screenies from it...
