The first hostage has been released! I think alot of you will be very pleased with this guy. Standard looking infantry, something that can be used for alot of purposes. I'm gonna do some recolorings for snow, and a black/dark grey recolouring for like a swat looking guy.

the muzzle flash should be in the correct color.

my personal opinion: this guy walks like a puppet.
But due to the lack of free infantry shp's, this is surely still useful.

well, since it's a conversion, the anims are out of my control.

anyways, I converted the cameo to the light blue scale trying to get snow camo. Then I realized I converted the camo to the allied scheme! This is very useful now because you can use .shp builders pal converter to change between like ten differetn schemes.

I was fixing up the walk frames when I noticed there are no prone frames. :/

Other than that, wonderful unit.

not everyone will use the same resize. Just like any computer application, you get rounding errors everythime you do an equation. So in theory if I resized it to YR size, and then someones resizes it to TS size, the product not be the same if it was directly resized to TS. Not only that, but someone might actualy want big infantry.

And I have no idea what gun that is, I thought it looked like an all metal AK myself.

If he had released it in a smaller size I would now be complaining that I wanted the bigger version instead. Oh well guess you can't please them all #Tongue

The SHP Builder has recolouring schemes, however the don't work perfectly (generates some flaws sometimes), and they don't have a scheme for converting all to dark grey.

All you could do is *some colour* shemize, then *some colour*-> greyscale, then the logarithm darkening.

Well, yeah, but there is no Black Schemize.

You have to schemize into some colour, than convert that into grey, then darken it to black (logarithm darkening)...

whats the point of crediting "Civ3". Credit the author of the model, not the game.
Its like when you use gamemats buildings in your mod, and you credit Yuris Revenge.

Because nobody is gonna waste hours of their life collecting names of every 3D modeler in Civ3's credit list. -_-
