As title sais it would be possible, 25 titans(I forced the app to render the unit 25 times insted of 1 time with slightly different positions each time) give me around 20 FPS. Tho the engine would have to be re-written to support multiple units(Well everything placed in TObjects).

Note: FPS is with a modifyed v1.7 (I couldn't find source code for any versions above 1.7).

Wow, I thought this tool was obsolete/desupported, and its FPS on my comp is terrible.
But now it's good to see this with hope again Smile

It is unsupported if Banshee doesn't support it. By default VSync is enabled, meaning that the max FPS is limited to your monitors refresh rate.

I could release a version which has the option to render 4 of the unit standing in the classic unit places if people want (Or even 8 ).

One use was to create cameo's. You can take a screenshot for example in OS VV and send it directly to OS SHP Builder. OS VV can also be used to create an animation of the unit, which can be posted on a forum.

Im not maintaining OS VV, i have enough on my plate in maintaining a game. I could however release a slightly modifyed version which just draws the same unit but 4 or 8 times in different positions. But only if there is anyone in the community (Who is working on voxels) which would like this.

Basicaly if noone is going to download a modifyed version, its pointless me spending time on it. You(Banshee) may like to see how i get extremly high FPS (Upto an average of 1800 on my pc with the default window size) when nothing is happening in the scene.

Maybe have a poll for how many interested? Well, in any case, that high FPS and the chance for "ärmys" might make it worth to use.

Another bug, doing a 360 rotation always gives my some blank (white) frames Sad

You can't set the positions of the "Extra" units, it comes in 4 and 8 with fixed positions based on how people generaly place units ingame for preview shots.

The bug with the white frames is related to the SetDIBits command. It has been fixed in the modifyed version iv made (Tho its slower at taking images).

Current changes:

- Ability to render 1, 4 or 8 of the unit in standard preview patern
- Ability to have a fixed size opengl window (As in one which doesn't resize to the screen size but can be set to fixed sizes, which is useful when you want to position the screen before taking a screenshot/animation)
- White bug on images removed
- Average FPS is increased. When moving the camera, or doing anything which constantly changes the actual scene will make the effect null for that time period.
- Some interface stuff moved to the bottom of the screen.
- Light Ground & Sky option now has no effect on the units lightning.
- Unit's Spectrum nolonger has any effect on the Ground and Sky's lighting.
