EDF Warrior:
Cost: 2500
Strength: Extremely High
Armor: Helicopter
Speed: Medium-Fast
Weapon: 30mm Vulcan Cannon
Passengers
Range: Medium-Long
Stolen Invader Tech, Tier-4 Advanced Anti-Surface Transport
Stolen Tech units are limited to being built one per player

The Mi-12 "Homer" was originally an interbellum project started by Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant in the 1960s. The project was extremely ambitious- to build a transport helicopter that was comparable to the Kirov Airship then in production. As the Soviets quickly discovered, their lofty goal of airlifting T-55 and T-64 (Allied name: "Rhino") heavy tanks, let alone Mammoth and Apocalypse class tanks was impossible. There was simply no metal that was strong enough to support the weight and no engines powerful enough to keep the aircraft airborne with the intended payloads.

Eventually, Mil built a few prototypes (V-12) of the aircraft for the purpose of transporting massive numbers of infantry, but production was halted in 1969 in preparation for the invasion of the United States; the Soviet military had no use for massive infantry transports. As with everything in Russia, the prototypes and designs were not scraped, perhaps for a later time.

This is where the Invaders enter the picture. The technology used to construct the Heavy Bomber is incredibly advanced, and it shows through the aircraft's near invulnerable armor and powerful engines. It has been theorized that among the technology contained in an Invader Technology Center there is data related to the manufacturing of the Heavy Bomber's armor. And awhile the Invaders are certainly far ahead of the EDF technologically, there doesn't appear to be any fail-proof barriers to stop a well-trained hacker from walking off with some sensitive data.

With the only barriers to manufacturing the Warrior being related to the weight of its armor and the power of its engines, the technology behind the Heavy Bomber would be a perfect solution.

Battlefield Observations
>Unstoppable- Owing to its Invader-inspired armor materials, the Mi-12 can take an absurd amount of damage. The most lightly armored parts of the aircraft, down to the rotors, can resist 30 and 40mm cannon fire and it's theorized that the hull could withstand 120mm tank gun rounds!
>Carry-all- The Warrior's massive internal stowage capacity and immense power-lift ratio allows for even the heaviest vehicles, such as MCVs and Apocalypse Tanks, to be carried. Infantry inside the Warrior can fire out of gun ports on each side of the aircraft, allowing for the Warrior to be flying death.
>Armed and dangerous- As its name suggests, the Warrior isn't harmless on its own. With a turreted 30mm Vulcan cannon, the Warrior Transport can mow down infantry, light armor and even duel other helicopters with great effectiveness.
