BS SHP Builder Feature Preview: Import Bitmaps as SHP!
Yea, no need for PSP doing that boring job of converting the colours of your picture for the palette you want, BS SHP Builder does that, already converting it to SHP . Here's a screenshot I posted in Sleipnir Stuff, where we are getting a lot of support.
there are 2 algarithums, both work out the difference between red green and blue in the 2 colours (one original from bmp, another is a palette colour we are checking).
One of them adds up the difference of R,G,B and then checks the next colour and see's if its got a lower RGB difference, if so it becomes the best match, so on n so forth.
the other does the same but insted of adding the rgb together, it keps them seperate, the current colour only becomes the best match if it has a lower or equal to r, g, b difference.
I actualy tryed to make an edge thing, it just seemed to make the shp lose pixels at the edge.... so i gave up. _________________ Free Map Editor - Game Requirements - Stucuk.Net QUICK_EDIT
Well, in that case, could you have color filters that can effect entire SHP, except shadows? This way edge fixing can be done manually. _________________ My 3D to SHP tutorial
