No, that was just an indication of where the separating space had to be. But since HTML condenses multiple spaces to one single space, I put the hyphen to indicate the separation between words. _________________ QUICK_EDIT

Don't the "preformatted" tags work on this board?
I'd rather prefer a description of what a Dugan IFV does, haven't played RA2 in ages _________________ I am MrFlibble. Just MrFlibble. From the Potato King to Uncle Arnie to MrFlibble. I am his right hand. FED2k Forums - Westwood Studios' Dune games and more QUICK_EDIT

RA2 Tesla Tank? It only appeared in MP in RA2, and also in the YR campaign. _________________ I am MrFlibble. Just MrFlibble. From the Potato King to Uncle Arnie to MrFlibble. I am his right hand. FED2k Forums - Westwood Studios' Dune games and more QUICK_EDIT

Uh, I was supposed to post the next riddle, right?
EDIT: Okay, I've come up with one. This unit shares a certain functional similarity with the Sonic Tank from Dune II, albeit its range is shorter, yet it has a critical weakness a Sonic Tank could have taken advantage of, were they in the same game. _________________ I am MrFlibble. Wrong. Have you even bothered reading the hints?
One hint more to you: this unit is unique in its class, as it is the only one to share an advantage with ground units of another class. _________________ I am MrFlibble. Just MrFlibble. No.
EDIT: Okay, I think what I said needs a bit of explanation, since not everybody might be well acquainted with Dune II. Do you know what's the difference between the Sonic Tank in Dune II and Dune 2000? The Sonic Tank in Dune II has something that its Dune 2000 counterpart doesn't, and the unit in question also possesses this something. _________________ I am MrFlibble. Just MrFlibble. All right, I'm gonna make it easy for you. This unit makes really rare appearances in the game, and you can finish the campaign without ever encountering it. _________________ I am MrFlibble. Not even close.
I remind you that all the hints are about the same unit. I'll list them for your convenience:

This unit shares a certain functional similarity with the Sonic Tank from Dune II, albeit its range is shorter, yet it has a critical weakness a Sonic Tank could have taken advantage of, were they in the same game.

By "class" I mean units produced from the same structure type (e.g. weapons factory), if it helps.

How does the disruptor match this:

yet it has a critical weakness a Sonic Tank could have taken advantage of, were they in the same game
and this:

and this:

?
You pay too much attention to the sonic tank stuff, and interpret it incorrectly. Never did I say that this unit looks like a sonic tank, or has the same weapon. I said that

I don't get why you have to throw in hints from Dune, MrFlibble. It confuses people =/
Anyways...Chaos Drone? You do meet these in the Sydney mission, so that's out...hmm. _________________ Please, read the signature rules of the forum. QUICK_EDIT

Because of this?

Not really, but Dune II/2000/Emperor are a legitimate part of the Westwood RTS heritage, there is very little sense in separating these games from the rest of them.
Good, forget what I said about the sonic tank, but the other hints remain:
1. It is the only unit of its class that has a specific advantage. Yet this advantage is a regular feature of units of another class.
2. This unit makes rare appearances in single player, and you probably won't encounter it in the campaigns.
3. It needs the highest tech level structure of the side that owns it to be produced.
4. It was supposed to have a bigger role in the game during production, but then the devs almost removed it. _________________ I am MrFlibble. Just MrFlibble. From the Potato King to Uncle Arnie to MrFlibble. I am his right hand. FED2k Forums - Westwood Studios' Dune games and more QUICK_EDIT
Chameleon Spy? It is only infantry that is stealthed and has a very limited appareance in few Nod missions. At least hints 1, 2 and 4 goes
with it, but IDK about #3 as it can't be built. _________________ Check out some TF Kane's Wrath action:

No, not the Chameleon Spy, but that's a lot closer.
The unit in question has a weapon, and quite an "exotic" one (not as "exotic as a sonic tank's weapon, though).

The unit's advantage that is unique to its class is a regular feature for all units of another class. _________________ I am MrFlibble. Just MrFlibble. From the Potato King to Uncle Arnie to MrFlibble. I am his right hand. FED2k Forums - Westwood Studios' Dune games and more QUICK_EDIT

This was hard one... but I think it is Hunter-seeker.
1: It is classed as a vehicle but it flies like aircrafts -> true
2: It's not used in campaign, but in skirmish AI uses it -> true
3: GDI upgrade center or Temple of Nod is required -> true
4: Indeed it was, but now it is just random annoyance -> true
5: Only unit in TS that self-destructs so pretty exotic -> true

I'm pretty sure I got it
I'm sorry, it's not the Hunter-seeker The name is two words though:

You didn't think I'd make it that easy, now did you? I can only say what game it is not from, and that is TS (since there were so many suggestions coming from that particular installment in the series). _________________ I am MrFlibble. Just MrFlibble.
