Antivirus/security suite problem

Well... I had COMODO internet security, which was win. Unfortunately if it is so much as installed certain components of steam (Online MP) refuse to work. Does anyone know for sure of a similar free product I can use that they are sure does not disrupt steam?

Now,on a serious note,those from BitDefender have a free version.(IIRC version 10.It should be ok for you.)

I have mates which use steam and BitDefender and both work with no problem.

I use COMODO Firewall and have had no problems with STEAM. Matter of fact, yesterday I was torching people in TF2.
