I installed the voxel viewer and got this error. So I uninstalled and reinstalled thinking that might work, but still ended up with error. Any clues as to whats going on?

What is your cpu, RAM, video card, operational system?

Is the Voxel Viewer installed in a directory that also has the palettes (unitem.pal at /Palettes/TS/)?

CPU= P4 2.8 ghz
RAM=1.7 gb
NVidia 5200 (has updated drivers)
Windows XP SP2

Have it installed in same directory as other os products.
folder name is CnC_Tools

Hmmm... there are two suspects here:

1) The directory. VH_Vxlview.exe must be in a directory that has a directory called 'Palettes'. This 'Palettes' dir must have many dirs including one called 'TS'. This 'TS' dir must have a unittem.pal

2) Your video card. It only supports OpenGL 1.5 or worse. Newer OS:VV and VXLSE III require OpenGL 2.0, although it hardly makes any use of its features at the moment.

I think your problem is the number 2, but if I were you, I'd check the number 1 again.
