Bounds and VXL-Size
Hello @all
i want to make a voxel (Mammoth MK II ->hmec.vxl) a little bit bigger.
I've readed many topics here in this board, but in all threads is the intention of the creator the scale of the model to make it smaller.
If i edit the bounds of the Voxel (all values *1,5 --> 50% bigger), i become a model with invisible lines between the vxl stones.
Like this
The VXL stones have to be bigger but only the difference between the stones will be greater if i edit the bounds, what can i do for that problem.
I use VXL Editor III and HVA Builder 2.12. Both of it make the same problem.
I hope u all understood my problem, because my english is not the best ^^
Best thing to do here is to scale it up using vxlIIIeditor, then reduce it to fit your needs with os hva builder. But remember if you scale a voxel that has multiple parts, you must rescale all the parts. Well you dont have too but I highly recommend it.
Ok i tryed it now and i have another problem after the process.
The Animation is terrible destroyed after the resize x2.
The legs flyes over the screen and the reanimation is very hard with this.
Any ideas? Or have anybody a resized model from hmec?
I need it so 30~50% bigger QUICK_EDIT
Unfourtunatly you'll have to put him back together, after resizing something the original hva file will not read the new size and will not put it together for you. Though you can use the old hva file as a guide. It will place the pieces at the right angles for the animations, you'll just have to piece it together like a puzzle. It shouldnt be to hard cause every piece is very noticable as to where it goes, and it will give you a little knowledge of how the animation sequence works with voxel and hva. QUICK_EDIT
Hmm i've searched alot for the model of MadHQ but i can't find it. Does anybody know which mod it was?
Or have anybody the vxl on his hdd?
I hope u can help me, thanks alot for the work
