I had a spark of inspiration for a tactical doctrine. I thought you might find it interesting. I decided to put this together for it:

Excerpt from "The Scorpion's War Machine - Doctrines of War"

"Slash & Burn" Doctrine

With Nod remobilizing with new zeal for Kane's apocalyptic view, so come new tactics. This doctrine we have seen in action lately, GDI Intelligence has confirmed this tactic to be known as "Slash & Burn." Familiarize yourself with the form it is executed in.

The tactic starts with a raiding attack, destroying outposts, and drawing out defenders. The key part is after the defenders are drawn away from the safety of the base, Nod Infernos burn down the pursuit forces. Weakening the base's defense little by little.

This can be used to your advantage however, if you outgun them 10 to 1, send a quite heavy pursuit force, then gun down the Infernos. The other way to counter, is bunker down your base and do not pursuit the aggressors.

End of Excerpt.

Of course that excerpt is written in a GDI point of view.

I was feeling like posting it in TW Intel form. The key concepts are harassment and seige tactics.

I appreciate the suggestion but I've already planned out our storyline and campaigns, adding unnecessary additions could upset what I have planned out. It was interesting information though. #Tongue

Yeah, I suspected as much. Perhaps I'll archive this, could be useful later if I ever get around to making an SP map.
