SHP Editor problems

I am having trouble saving a Tiberian Dawn SHP. Everytime I import the frames and then save the file, but for some reason it fails to reopen the shp. Any thoughts?

I really could never get it to save TD/RA SHPs properly. I really don't know if that has any bearing on the current subject though.

Sometimes it saves it correctly... and sometimes it doesn't. I admit that I've never figured out what could be wrong with it.

Disheartening. I have had a 99% fail rate with a 1% margin of error accommodated. Sad

Is there any other way to make Tiberian Dawn SHPs? It is for... a favor from someone. Rolling Eyes

You CAN just use XCC's Copy As SHP function...

Mind you, this only works if they're already correctly paletted and everything.

Maybe they used a different Compression method for TD and RA?

They did use a different compression method and I use XCC's encode and decode methods, with a translation to Delphi. I guess there might be a mess up at this translation at some point, but the code itself is complicated.
