I Think you're doing a fantastic job so far. My only real concern at the moment is that Red Alert 2 can have separate refineries and construction yards etc. Do you plan on giving each side a different Construction yards and Refineries?

Well its up to you, Personally I'd just give each one a scheme matching texture. One of the things I always hated about Tiberian Sun was the fact that the Construction Yards and Refineries where the same.

@ Gangster. I think you can make a new GDI Conyard by taking the current GDI style and implementing it. You're creative. I'm sure you can do it.

Shipyards could be added only as eye-candy side-schemed structure, while mod will follow original TS building list. But there will be few additionals such as:

-GDI Helipad x4. as non-buildable structure.
-GDI Dropship bay. as eye-candy building
-Nod Repair bay as non-buildable structure.
-Nod Tiberium Silo as eye-candy building
...list may be extended Smile

Just some info for you:
-the TS Refinery was originally the Nod version, while the Conyard was the GDI version.
I hope you may take a look at this while creating the new refineries and conyards. Also, keep up the good work!

it will have original TS Tech Tree
but there will be addition stuff for SP and MP maps.
consept art structures, side-specific convoy trucks, barels, crates, junk, units' crashsites etc
plus civilian stuff will be extended as well
new billboards, new houses, cars, barricades and such stuff
tho all this new shiny thingles have a lowest priority.

I don't think you should add anything completely new to TS unless its a civilian asset. You can use the concept for 4-pad GDI Heliport for instance.

I've seen your screenshots and renders and I like them. And I look forward to TS:RW

But I have a few questions (I recommend that you make a FAQ list btw):

1. Did you consider using the beta versions of the GDI Power Plant and GDI Comm Centre?
2. Did you consider using other beta stuff as well (heavy tank etc)?
3. Do you plan to add CABAL and the Forgotten as playable sides?
4. Will you use the original Tiberian Dawn buildings of will you remaster them?
5. Do you plan to make the Tiberian Dawn buildings useable (to a certain extend)?
6. Do you plan to recreate the TS and FS campaigns (with FMV's and mission map)?
7. Have you thought about translated versions like a german one (both censored and uncensored)? (you may use the uncut patch which Nyerguds and I have created)
8. How will the dropship bay work?

Well these are all questions for now. You do not have to answer them if you don't wish to do so.

btw I recommend that you also make a ModDB profile of TS:RW as soon as possible. But since it's your mod, I let you decide about it of course. Smile

7. I'm gonna go out on limb here and say probably not.
8. Eye candy feature = no function. So basically it is just a civilian building in function, doesn't give a super or any new tech and is probably unbuildable.
