No.. the mutant side is far from finished, i need to make graphics for their buildings or get a team member to help me out on that.

well couldnt ya just use civ buildings(like in that cabal mission where you had to get the tactutis)
and in the nod mission where you use gdi units to attack the mutants
(like the whatch tower thing that had a mg in it)

Yes i could, in fact i'm doing that now... two problems:

1) i STILL need a buildup for those buildings as the game doesn't come with them

2) it looks lame in Skirmish, and the civ buildings are not remapable (ie can't change to the colour u select when u play a skirmish game)

oh well a mod that add mutants and ciz to the game did the same thing i suggested(forgot the name) keep up the good work

DvD, it's actually pretty easy to make the civie buildings remappable...

it's not in any language, you simply edit the rules.ini

Well I checked out the .ini files and I made the mutants buildable(mutant,mutant women,and mutant segent) they dont have icons and are very weak
but I do have one question:
How do i make a new side(ie mutants)

i dont think u should make the civie buildings buildable for mutants, it would look tacky, maybe edit them, add a few things like barbed wire round them and stuff like that, or make ur own civie style buildings and add the barbed wire etc..., adding sattelite dishes would look cool

This is my FIRST mod some im trying to keep it simple Ill get in to voxel editing and all that AFTER i completly understand rules.ini and using hidden units in Art.ini

you should get somthing like sunedit2k that is a good moding program for people new to moding

I use tibed to get the info on building/unit images then copy and paste Laughing Laughing seeing how long rules.ini it saves me some time

copying and pasting in wordpad is faster..

You know, TibEd is a fine prog: much better than SunEdit2k. It's just, it still limits you. For a simple mod (like the hundreds that are around for TS) it's sufficient. But not for very professional mods..
