Free MMORPG's

i was planning to try out some free mmorpg's. i'm wondering if anyone here play any.

what can you recommend i schould try?

i played some .. but not for a long time.
these are IMO ok:

runesofmagic
rappelz

thay are a little gay #Tongue

but i guess the moust other free mmropgs are more gay ...

Runescape and Maple Story are the only 2 I know about, never played them though...

Runescape and WoW. But I definitely don't recommend any MMORPGs, they take up so damn much time.

That depends. There are private servers that are not pay as you go, but you don't get Blizz support and they are generally very low pop. I have never played on one, I only know of people that have.

Speaking of Sword and Sorcery. Has anyone tried the DnD online? I know that its not completely free, but I thought about it. I am a humungo dork like that.

Yes, as regulus said there are many private servers, that are free.

Free, its an rts, and people still play it, RPG elements, ect. But it is QUITE old.

Runes of Magic, looks intresting, but a BIG download!

so i looked a bit and found Perfect World, looks intresting, but just started so.
and ofcourse i was not even on for 5 mins, and someone called me a noob already lol. i'll see whats up with that game else i'll be looking for something else.

RPG games are better than MMORPG, since all the good MMORPG games cost(WOW, Aion, Warhammer Online)

Here are some interesting ones I'd personally try...

1. Battle Swarm
2. Project of Planets
3. Face of Mankind
4. 2029 Online
5. GhostX
6. Anarchy

Though I'm not even sure if some of these are still alive x___x
