i want to use a meteors shower for a SW
how do i do this all i got figured out so far is the meteor icon
SidebarImage=METRICON

?and i am gussing i would have to replace it with an already existing SW?

does anyone know and has anyone done this before? Laughing
it would be wicked if you could help me out on this thanks

Im not completely sure, but I think he wants to add it to his map...
In fact, he can change everything just like its written in the tutorial BUT changing the damage through the meteor itself (though you may change them to the debris, but this could cause problems,at least the cluster logic will be lost

no Lin Kuei Ominae i want to edit this into the map itself not the actual tibsun rules..so is it possible

an online map? You know, that this weapon would be a wayyyyyy too unbalanced and furthrmore that the size is limited?
I got experience myself, since I made about 20, or even more, online maps. Though they were all visceroid maps...

in this case... hmm... well i think you can do it but only with some restrictions

1. you can't change the damage of the meteors. Since you're forced to use the METLARGE and METSMALL anims which have their damage set in art.ini. And since you can't add art.ini code to a map, you can't change their damage. Thus you have to live with the 5000000 damage, which would kill instantly any building/unit and which in turn would make this way too strong.

2. You can only let one type of meteors appear, either METLARGE or METSMALL. Because you're bound to rules.ini keys you would have to use the cluster logic to spawn multiple meteors over a wide area and this can use only one warhead, which in turn would use only one specific animation.

But most of the basic logic described in the above posted tutorial should work in a map too.
