The notorious Katyusha is a devastating MLRS platform, mixing lethality and firepower in a deadly package. The Katyusha launches barrages of rocket artilleries, capable of laying down firepower over a widespread area.

It is ideal for taking down enemy ground infantries from afar, as well as destroying buildings and light defense emplacements. Against heavy armor though, the Katyusha proves to be not as effective These are best used in at groups of 2/3 and more.

Like most other artillery platforms, they are extremely vulnerable to direct enemy fire, and thus is best used when deployed with ground infantry and/or heavy tanks on a front-line.

If it's not gonna turn that turret, might as well give it two launchers. Still, an interesting take on Soviet/Russian MRLS.

Well, as cool as it looks, I agree with Bolt. The body is too long for such short turret. It's pointless.

Okay, the middle's gonna be cut down a bit. It does not have a turret either. The rocket pods will also be eventually changed to more old-fashioned rocket tubes. Razz

The name ain't strange vef. It's based upon a Soviet WW2 Rocket Weapon, from which newer versions are still being used today Wink

I rather like it the way it is now, but I could see how it might be improved by lengthening the missile pod slightly as has been suggested.
