Why doesn't the Gattling Cannon have the same barrels as the Gattling Tank? Now it looks like it has 2 AT guns instead of Gattling guns #Tongue

no, just for now it is a repair pad, although I will try working on the coding of it later. I'll skim through that thread I had about the grinder and try some of the possibilities. I find the ingame funny because the units only drive on the cement and never into those corners Smile

Can you darken the tank on the vat, the person looks too obviously undetailed. More murkiness would help.

To Orac & nms: the Generals Engine doesn't really like highly-detailed stuff. I think this is already as much-detailed as you can get for Generals standards...

How come that normal Generals buildings look nicely detailed...When not zoomed in though. Is that Cloning Vat really the maximum limit? If so, EA sucks...Making limits on detailing...

It's not the limit, but it's advised to only have a certain amount of polies per model, or else the game will lag when you view it. Arf, DaFool must come here and explain. It's his mod after all #Tongue

But I guess that's too hard for you / too much work (not meant to be offending), as nothing has a skin in this mod. Too bad, as this mod owns.

The whole meaning of the mod is to be without skins, just coloured parts (which is like the units they are based on).

I like the cartoony style that is created when the models only use the solid colors instead of real skins and textures. Thats it, there is nothing more to say about that, it is my style. There are also poly limits, which dictate how many faces a model may have, and I try to stay within these limits (or else the game WILL lag, and if there too many of a laggy building, the game WILL crash).

The only sugegsted thing I could do would be to make the glass a darker color, which would only make the guy harder to see.

I guess a pilot sniping tower seems like a cool defensive building, it will be a little unique, and with the right reload speed, should be pretty balanced.
