For some reason, TI keeps minimizing its self after launching. If I click the icon on the taskbar trying to "maximize" it, I get a brief image of whatever is on the screen and then it minimizes its self again. I think someone had a problem like this once for DTA, but I couldn't find the topic.

What's strange is that the game was running perfectly before now. Confused
Alt-tabbing doesn't help either.

J4m3sB0nd had a similar problem when he first installed TI. I'm not sure exactly what causes it, I'll link him to this topic to lend you a helping hand.

I found that if you keep right clicking or pressing a key such as "enter" (the latter technique seems most successful), the game will remain maximised (you do not have to continue doing this, of course, just until it hasn't minimised as it usually does). Not an ideal solution, since I am not exactly sure why Windows 7 keeps wanting to hide TS, but it seems to work (except in those cases where the keys don't register).

strangely the error doesnt occur every time, but occasionally. Very strange...

I do it like J4m3es - to speak, I keep cklicking on it and pressing, at the same time, esc
As far as I know it happens when 1) the intro is played, 2)ur in the lobby/in an lobby game. Doesnt happen anymore ig or in the menu AFAIK, though its just my experience

I'm having this same problem, but restarting my computer almost always solves it.

My bro's comp also had the same problem, moving the mouse around in the center of the screen seemed to fix it for some reason.

I often encounter this problem with TI, YR and a number of other full-screen applications in Windows 7. I've found that shutting down Explorer.exe when you need to play will stop this from occurring.

I have to disable the desktop composition and visual themes, as well as display scaling in my compatibility options for some applications on Windows Vista. Maybe that helps someone?

Not only 7, Vista does too.
