PPM needs donations!

Hey guys! If you are wondering about the lack of news here, I've been to New York on april 15th. The trip was awesome until yesterday night, the moment I was supposed to return home in 2 different flights: LGA -> MIA and MIA -> GIG (Rio de Janeiro).

The flight from New York (La Guardia) to Miami delayed over 3 hours due to weather problems in Atlanta. I've arrived in Miami after the flight to Rio took off. So, since then, I'm stuck in Miami low on cash and credit. According to the American Airlines customer service, I'm on stand by for tonight's flight and I only have a confirmed sit on wednesday night's flight. They are not paying anything for me, neither hotel. I really on my own and without my luggage. My mobile phone is my only connection to internet using the paid wifi from the airport. My laptop is broken.

I believe I have funds to survive here, but I'm unable to pay the server costs in this month because my credit is almost reaching its limit. Any contribution such as 5 dollars are really welcomed this time to help paying the $50 monthly bill. Check the Support Us section at the right menu in order to donate. Once I return from Miami, this news section will get more active again.

Hmm, I can prolly afford that 5 dollers, though at this rate I'm running to financial problems by the end of August (work related, or lack thereof).

Thanks a lot, guys. I managed to take yesterday's flight to Rio and now I'm back at home. I've just 'fixed' my desktop which has a screwed up RAM module that I'll try to fix with a rubber soon.

Ehm Banshee, why did you make a trip to NY when you know that you are low on money?

And yeah, $50 a month is way to much. You should change your hoster.

Bibber, I wasn't low on money (except in Miami, in the end of the trip, where I didn't plan to stay). My credit card was low on credit (and it still is, although this problem will be solved by the end of the week).

And $50 is expensive, but we have a very big database and actvity and, as far as I've researched, most hosting services demands that a site with the activity, database size and server resources usage of PPM must go with a semi-dedicated server plans or something like that, which costs as much as what I pay here.

We are on day 13th already using 95gb, but our average is to use between 260gb and 300gb per month.
