Right, this probably sounds loike the most n00bish question that I've ever asked but I'll risk it. I've got a voxel and a turret (well, it's actually a barrel) and I want to get them aligned. What is the quickest and easiest way to do so? I'm guessing you need to change its position in the HVA editor to centre it and then change TurretOffest= in the art.ini to change it horizontally. Would anyone like to verify that for me please?

No you should avoid using the hva as much as possible and focus on the header values instead to align it. It is quite easy to use and I believe it has been explained how to use them before (use htnk as a reference for this).

actually, I would say otherwise. I always use the HVA to align my voxels... I've never used the other way (well not effectivly anyway) I guess you should try them both and decide which one works best for you.

Using the voxel headers, make the max and min scale/bounds equidistant from the origin.

Easyest way is proberly to sign up for the OS HVA Builder's beta, it can align things, using the Voxel's Offset in the Bounds is best as Krav said above.

Does TurretOffest= do anything? iv been wondering since OS: Voxel Viewer (v1.3) can view most things perfectly. (it doesn't ask for this value)

TurretOffset= is set in the art.ini and yes it does adjust the position of the turret ingame.

TurretOffset should ONLY be used when the turret needs to be adjusted backwards/forwards..
