Well the camera is set at 1000 since it's the only hieght where the camera doesn't look up or down on the render, and I have the sky box thing clicked.

my terragen has been acting up lately, everything has been very polygonish... I'll have to check and see if its fixed yet

Is the render detail set up very high? Thats sounds like the problem I had when I first tried.
