I am at my wits end with this issue. Twisted Insurrection's campaign is being worked on but for some reason certain missions refuse to launch properly even though all the coding appears to be correct.
At first I initially thought that Mapsel.ini was irrelevant unless you actually need to use the map selection screen once you finish a mission, but it appeared that it was still a necessary file for getting missions to launch correctly (for example, GDI 6 wouldn't launch after GDI 5 until I edited the file), but even though everything is now coded correctly, missions are still refusing to launch properly.

In TI's case at the moment:

- GDI 7 refuses to launch after GDI 6
- Nod 9 refuses to launch after Nod 8

All the maps have the correct NextScenario= tags so this is not the issue, the coding all appears to be correct in Mapsel.ini too so I have no idea what is causing the problem. Does anybody happen to have any insight on this issue?

Attached is Twisted Insurrection's mapsel.ini.

Note: The TI campaign is still being worked on regardless of this issue, so don't worry about it coming to a total standstill.

Update:

With this different version of Mapsel.ini, the map gives an Internal Error after completion (and before the loading screen for the next mission appears).

This pretty much confirms that the issue itself lies within either Mapsel.ini, the game executable or both.

This is a bridge issue and a half.

You mean what colour resides with what when creating the click maps?

If so, then that is the colours in the 256 indexed PCX image that defines the colours.

Using the last Mapsel.ini file attached in this thread along with changing "SkipMapSelection=" from no to yes (which I swear I had done in the first place, but apparently not), the missions appear to launch correctly in order.
