I download GMAX and I think its great, I barely just read the 1st tutorial, and I made a mace Very Happy. Anyway Im still learning it though, im going to try to read all the tutorials. This porgram kind of reminds me of Auto Cad 2000 and Wills new Voxel editor put together.

i used to use GMAX to make maps, well at least try, but they always fucked up at the texturing part

Yeah the texturing part is a probleme for every person Confused

no, my problem was, no textures appeared, they were even the colours i assigned the floor n mountains and that, or were the westwood logo (the 1 it uses for Renegade when theres a texture missing)
