The credits.ini file refers to a string file called 'Generals.str'.
Where is this file located, so that I can edit it? or can a string file with the same name be created and used?

If either is the case would the 'Generals.str' file be put in the same location has the mod.str file?

Ideally the entries could be added to mod.str, but that's not possible I guess.

Actually it's the file you're looking for. The ini comment wasn't changed since Generals so it mentions Generals.str (which isn't even used in the release version of Generals)
