I could see it. Only thing it needs is the soldier looking directly at the viewer, and a reflection of an explosion or unit in the game in the visor/sunglasses, as all pre-Generals boxart had.

Nice boxart #Tongue. I think it would work as a game cover art if you actually had a need for one.

Perfect. A little editing, a few free CD boxes, a few print outs, CD image burner, and I can donate a few "games" to a local thrift store or two.

All of it is exceptionally great... except for the text at the bottom. VERY poor choice in font and color.

C'mon Aro, you're better than that!

Just noticed it again. Can someone tell me who this 16 years old Peggy is and why they are searching for her on so many computer games boxes?
Couldn't they use a milk box as usual?

Afaik, in the USA they put missing children on Milk boxes (or at least, that is what the movies told me) as a way to let the public know.

It's because in commercials for games it always starts/ends with a voice saying "pegi 16" and nothing more. This sounds more like the name instead of p.e.g.i and is also completely out of the context. If you don't know p.e.g.i. then you can't tell what they want to say with that.

Commercials always start with the age limit, not ending with them. But yeah, I can understand your point. Tho never thought about that, I always noticed their logos (except when the cover had ESRB rating xD)

Of course I'm aware of pegi, it's just that I don't find the joke funny at all. Then again, sense of humour is debateable.

Besides, I've heard the esrb ratings (e.g. "Rated T for Teen") a lot more.

If seeing little soldiers running at full health then at the next second being hit by a artillery shell that sets them ablaze, then watching as they run around the land burning until they fall down withering to ash isn't violent enough then your crazy.I also hate how some RTS's have shit tons of gore and are rated T just because they aren't a FPS(luckily most mods don't have official ratings).

Seriously could someone show me a rated M RTS because I really don't know any.

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War.

In my opinion, there needs to be more gory RTS games. There is something satisfying in truly watching the enemy infantry being mulched.

Shit I forgot all about Warhammer, mostly everyone loves to see some true war reflecting brutality in any game.I like to see the fleshies be butchered how it would be if they were actually in real life.I'm still waiting for a game with enough bulk to house a complex wound and gore system to simulate that goodness.Like a artillery shell hitting the ground blowing some soldiers to shreds while others are wounded needing a medic or dead by bleeding out.Think of a nice Anatomy hud showing an infantry's bone conditions, blood amount, and how their organs are.Like wise, could be used to show the condition of components of a vehicle on a hud.

Having punctured gas tanks making vehicles unable to move along with soldiers with halted mobility by a broken leg would be cool, but a game engine like that would be a monster to create I assume.Enough of my blabbering simply some more realism or gibs is always cool.

Hahahahah DMAN, let's not go completely crazy. Just an RTS with Fallout-ian/Quake-ian instagibs would be just fine.

DMAN, you guys seem to have enough violence and shooting on your own. No need to add virtual carnage to it.

Realism is good to an extent, but at one point it will get...discomforting. I'm not exactly looking to a scenario where I have to put back the intestines blown off by a grenade, saw off an injured leg, or drink piss to prevent dehydration.

It was just an idea and I wasn't meaning you were going to play doctor or have super janitor bros where your mission is to clean up the guy turned to paint by a grenade malfunction Laughing. Most of the stuff I said would be terrible for an RTS because the immense amount of micro management which would be boring or frustrating, but it would be good for an FPS.

Btw take a look at Cortex Command and Overgrowth they got some realistic features.

I wouldn't call Cortex Command realistic.

I mean, crab bombs that kill everything that's not in a bunker.

I was referring to the feature of everything's destructible just like in real life(Vanilla wise)not the infinite space rockets and drop-ships.

Also I said some features are realistic in the games not the whole games itself.
