Hello guys,
the next patch for Ares 0.2 is here. It fixes the AI team building issue, as well as two minor problems with aircraft using the new PoweredBy logic and super weapon cameo tool tips. Aside from that, some internal definitions have been corrected, which might help to prevent crashes or freezes caused by memory corruption.

Ares 0.2p2 is available at LaunchPad already.

Finally, I can concentrate on working on Ares 0.3 again, but I saw that almost no new features have been confirmed on the LaunchPad page, though I have seen many of you have talked about using them here at PPM.

Before I will merge Cyclic Gattling and Custom Missiles into DCoder's big branch containing (among others) the Whiteboy fix, they will have to be confirmed. That is, some credible people have to say "hi" there, tell what they tested and whether it worked as expected. If that is done this combined binary will become the base for Ares 0.3, which I will gradually add new features to (some of them have been mentioned in this thread about TS features).

- Cyclic Gattling works just fine.
- Custom missiles and missile trailer & takeoff animations work just fine as well.
- Radiation color bug has been fixed in dc03.
- Chronoshifting transport issue is not entirely fixed in dc03. It only prevents you from using standard deploy cursor functionality. Deploy hotkey combination still works even if the unit is still phasing in.

I also mentioned all of these in their respective Launchpad bug reports.

On next weekend I want to expand gd03 a bit further. Don't merge it into main yet if you planned that too since according to the blueprints, everything related to it's codebase are completed.

The issue should be fixed now. It was quite contraproductive for the banner to say "I'm unstable" in a patch that is considered a stability update...
