Long Time No post, i have an idea which will make the terrain look alot better in this mod, rocks will be alot more used than they were in ts, sum will be giant spikes or arches. they will add to the effect and make the terrain look much more tiberium rather than desert, in snow there will be huge icycles sticking out the ground. in missions and maybe sum multiplay maps there will the spikes will fall like those structures in generals and crush anything caught underneath.

there will be alot of visual features, crashed scrinships, fallen buildings, smashed up roads with craters or spikey rocks sticking out, there will be bent tracks

the rocks will look like a normal cliff and use skins which r made from the terrain textures.

Why not make this an entirely seperate project, like the Terrain Expansion thats being worked on for YR, and have a TS terrain expansion. Im sure Smiffgig would help out where he could and The DVD too, as well as almost everyone else both here and at TumSun.

it may use the mould mesh feature in worldbuilder so u can texturise it anyway u want,

for those of u who dont know the mesh mould is where u can mould the terrain from a .w3d file, westwood havent made any w3ds yet but deezire has released some w3ds

the terrain will look alot more like in the ts movies. lots of amazing landscapes

ofcourse, thats what im planning to do and if they use the meshmould i think things maybe able to ride on top of them, bikes for example, u could have snipers waiting on top and all sorts

im not sure if the mesh mould works the way i said it but i guess that it should work this way as i took a look at the files which deezire had made. im not sure if arches r possible with mesh mould anyway.

dunno about icicles sticking up from the ground... but the arches sound good...
We need more tiberian based terrain, pools, new plants rocks covered in goo.. stuff like that.. also the vein monster deff needs to be there and have a more active role... maybe a tonge to reach out and pull vehicles/ppl into its mouth.
