Mitteleuropa
Chapter I: Germany
After the downfall of the Russian Empire, and the self-destruction of Austro-Hungary, the German state rushed to expand its influence across the new Europe that was shaping up, in order to secure the Easter border in case of a comeback of a more dangerous Russian power.

Chapter II: Finland
The Finnish national revival against the Russian occupation has been a though fight, but it was worth it, at least for the Finnish population. Germany was a good friend, that supported Finland in becoming the Constitutional Monarchy that is today.

Chapter III: Ukraine
Not all countries in Mitteleuropa are democratic. Same can be said about Ukraine - Pavlo Skoropadskyi, the Hetman of Ukraine isn't the most democratic figure, but he sure is one of the most populist Mitteleuropa has seen. Through his military intelligence he managed to take control of a popular army in Ukraine, and make it the most powerful stand against Russia today.

Looks like Finland went ahead with the idea of monarchy, am I right? If so, it would be cool to see the red-background-gold-cross -variation of the flag, since that's what they had in mind originally (had Finland become a monarch that is). _________________
