A small note: I misworded a change I made, and so it didn't end up being correct in this rev.

In SetPalette, here's how the order should be:
1. LoadAPaletteFromFile(..)
...
2. GenerateShadowCache(..)
...
3. PaletteLoaded(..)

EDIT 3:
There's also a tiny change I didn't include, because I wanted to know why I had to add it, but I had no luck.
In FormSHPImage, procedure ResizePaintArea, in the 'if WindowState = WSNormal' condition, here's what I changed:
ClientWidth := Width + 4;
ClientHeight := Height + 4;
