A new 8-player map by j4m3sb0nd. It's the first map for more than 3 players which forces players to utilize naval and air units.

This may seem a bit like necroposting, but what is the recommended setting for this map?

I've played a few rounds on this map only to find the Soviet AI is quite underwhelming compared to others. So far, it seems more fun with a group of players.

The recommended settings obviously depend on your skill level, but from testing with the rest of the staff I can say that generally the AI is easier on this map than in other maps (especially in a 1v1 situation). While we usually get beaten by the Hard AI in a 4v4, winning the AI on this map was easy once we had expanded to the tiberium-rich center island.

If you feel that even the Hard AI is too easy here, you could try enabling Extreme AI and checking if it would provide you the quick, brutal death which it has been designed to bring. We actually haven't tested how well the Extreme AI option works in this map. It could make the AI much more challenging, but it could also make the AI fill its island with structures so that the AI gets stuck (hopefully this doesn't happen).

Since the AI cannot expand to cover any other islands than its starting island, the map would obviously be more fun with human opponents. Maybe we staff members will again play using the public version after the next update #Tongue
