*Credits to Bu7loos for SHP

Watch Tower
Affiliation: Soviet Union
Role: Detection and Urban Combat
Cost: 1000
Hitpoints: 600
Armor: Fortified Steel
Requirements: Soviet Construction Yard & Palace
Additional Info:
- Detects Hidden Units
- Detects Disguises
- Can have up to 4 occupants

Watch Towers are tall structures that provide Soviet Bases with increased elevation allowing them to survey the surroundings more easily. Originally built mainly in Concentration or Prison Camps to monitor the captives. More recently they have become a common sight in long-standing Soviet Bases to provide a considerable vantage point at which to watch out for enemy forces. These structures are considered by most as a direct-upgrade of the Battle Bunker sacrificing one occupant slot. Binoculars provided and mounted Search Lights allows occupants in the Watch Tower to easily identify between friend or foe.

D: WHY ARE THERE CONCENTRATION CAMPS,

On-Topic: I really like the SHP (saw it on YRArg a while ago) but if they have binoculars, do they have significantly increased sight?

Technically, there have been many many concentration camps, even in Allied countries, and concentration camps are still used today.

Thing is, the word concentration camp is nowadays associated with extermination camps... Every extermination camp is a concentration camp, but not every concentration camp is an extermination camp.

[/history lesson]

I like it. Nice fat and brutal.

They're in the middle of a war. Of course there is gonna be prison camps for the soviets.

Yep they have a bigger sight range. This is also used for their sensing abilities.

The Allies get a Mobile Sensor Array (Which isn't done yet)

Why prison camps for Soviets? There can be camps for Allies and the other faction with the same success. Thowing mud at countries is not good at all.

The Prisoners that were captured were the ones which Yuri "liberated" for use on his Slave Miners.

The Allies have Prison Facilities too but the Soviets in Colony Wars have the more publicly seen ones as their prisoners either volunteer for service in the army to work off their sentences or just stay there to help in the production of the resources.

For the syndicate... well they're the slaves as I mentioned. Who have collars that prevents them from escaping.

Then you really shouldn't be playing the Red Alert series. #Tongue

I do not reject your opinion and I admit that Soviets are a bit dirty in Red Alert 2, OmegaBolt. That questing was just out of curiosity as mods are mods.

Edit: I am interested in implementing watchtower-like building in my mod and this is a hint for you: You can make a siren when the enemy is near the tower using a weapon + you can have a turning lightbeam with aplha to make it have more details.

This is a Garrisonable Building so nope. I can't give it a dummy Siren Weapon.

Wouldn't it work if there are no infantry in it? Then it will use it's own weapon.
(Some left over memory, may not be true)
