Shouldn't it be "The Soviets are", rather than "Soviet is"?

"The Soviet Union is" or "The Soviets are" either way, needs a change there. Looks cool though, if only I was a better player I could beat a defense mission.

I've always been under the impression that the Soviet Union is often shortened as just Soviet. I guess I'll change it to "The Soviets are" then.

"Soviet is" seems correct to me; just like you'd say "Russia is" and "Russians are".

Soviet sounds more like an adjective to me than a noun.
soviet army, soviet union, soviet forces ...
So i would agree that "Soviet is" is not really correct.

Russia is a country, but soviet isn't.
It's like saying "United is ..." while you refer to united states of america.
