New side base defense problem

I add new side to RA2 Yuri use Ares , but I have 1 problem.
The new side alway build it's base defend such ass , pilbox cannon like this.
this basedefense expand 1 by 1 around the map.
It don't care to build tank and aircraft.
How can I fix this.

This isn't an issue with Ares but with your AI. You did something incorrectly and the game gets confused.

The AI will usually spam base defenses if it either can't build normal structures (might be insufficient build space or it doesn't have the correct structures listed under barracks, factory or powerplant list), or when defenses have too low AntiXXXValue values on them.

Check all your prerequisites and whether all defensive structures have values similar to their RA2 values.

Other than that, it's guessing game, and i don't think anyone will be able to help you, unless you provide more details.

Oh, I had similar problem long time ago, for new side, for Aliens. Fourth Side. Ai created tons of same base defense types (type of pillbox/sentry gun), unlimitedly times around map, not respecting Adjancent, even if base defenses are not providing space. So yeah, finally he got into my base with those defenses....
I think I fixed problem when I added one defense team because I did not have any AI trigger except for starting unit, deploying MCV. So at least one or two triggers fixed problem.

Thank you , I will try this.

After I try to add AITriggerTypes for fase guard , It still the same AI still build too many of pillbox.

Here is an example 4th side with Ares - http://www.ppmforums.com/download.php?id=58435
It can be compared with vanilla INI files for changes. Chances of 4th side base defense spamming
reduces with Easy difficulty and lower AI.BaseDefenseCounts.

Test with multiple 4th side AI on Brutal difficulty to see the spamming problem and let me also
know what fixes it.
