XCC Mixer Palet Issue

I'm trying to extract pcx files after a tutorial that says "View > Palet > Red Alert 2 > Unittem.pal " But I don't have "Red Alert 2" in Palet. When I choose "Select.." the windows are empty. I was gonna try to change the directory of RA2 in "View > Directories.." but it won't allow me to change it.

So how do I choose the Unittem.pal for the GI .pcx files I want to extract?

I'm using XCC Mixer 1.47.

I forget how XCC dose RA2. What I would do is put RA2 into any of the open directories. You got Dune 2, TD Pr, TD Sec, and RA1.

Happens when XCC reads wrong registry keys and can't find the right RA2 directory.

Since the default way of XCC to find the palettes is crap as soon as you have different versions of the same game (mods), follow this tutorial.
