IIRC the turret and auto-loader mechanism were actually intended for anti-aircraft purposes.

Of course, as it turns out with most heavy caliber anti-aircraft cannons, they make superb anti-tank weapons with a proper AP shell, and WG decided it was a good idea to use that thing as a tank destroyer.


Beautiful voxel. For an evil fascist box tank atleast.
