With OpenRA supporting custom palettes on voxels and other modders are also starting to use the AS styled gradients - Crystallized Doom, Phoenix Chronicles - I decided to create this tool.

With this tool, the arbitrary WW gradients can be replaced with properly optimalized-for-voxels gradients based on HSL. Just pick a color on a gradient slot and the tool does the rest.

Nice tool, but why skew towards white as the lightest for all the shades?

I think it would make sense to have the option of choosing a maximum brightness colour/tone as well.

What about an option to export a .vpl based on user specified tonal increments?

It's not white. It's just close to white but it isn't.

I'll do the VPL at a later point though.

Cool to see you went ahead and created that tool. A nice tool to have for ORA modders or even ambitious C&C modders.
