Help with weapon
Subject description: game confusing gas rocket with chaos drone attack
I added the Generals Toxin Tractor to Yuri's revenge for Yuri, and gave it a weapon called "PoisonGasRocket." This was about 2 years ago. It worked well, I believe I found working code for it online.
Anyway, present day, it's not working correctly. Now when the Toxin Tractor attacks, it uses the Chaos Drone weapon. I looked through the code, can't figure out why it's failing, so I was hoping someone here may have some insight for me.

Not that I see... it's definitely something with the weapon itself... i changed the ToxinTractor weapon to 105mm (Grizzly gun) and it fired the grizzly gun. So, I just renamed the PoisonGasRocket to GasGrenade and it worked normally... I think it's reading the wrong weapon entry, not at all sure why... perhaps Ares? It didn't do this before.
Anyway, it's not a pressing issue anymore, but I do appreciate your input. Still hope to figure out why it did this in case it does it again in the future. QUICK_EDIT
Rechk for another entry with PosionGasRocket. This kind of mess-up happens when there are two sections with the same name, but different values.
And I'm not sure, but the ordering of such sections might also be considered by the game when deiciding which one's flags and values to use. Logically, the last would override the first, but I'm not sure. _________________ One and only developer of the Command & Conquer Dune "C&C D" mod.
