Hey,

I do not know if this is related to the new Ares Version but I am getting this Error when Yuris Sides are included in a match (could be Allies too).
It could be some temporal=yes interactions. I ran a cross script checker and tried my best to find it on my own - help would really be appreciated.

Bye!   Smile

I'm not sure, because I can't see where it came from, but a cell contained some invalid content. This could happen under certain circumstances, like having buildings with overlapping foundations and then destroying one of them.

Thank you very much,

I remembered this from a custom map i downloaded from PPM where civilian buildings were placed to look different but hat overlapping boundaries and when occupied and then destroyed the game would crash ...
Can this happen, when you have custom foundations with freed cells? Technically that is not overlapping.

Edit:

I found the overlapping buildings. The maps name was homefront.yrm - thank you very much - the next time this happens I have to keep this option in mind.

Edit2:

Would it be possible to stop this from being a fatal crash with ares? I don't know about possible consequences but a crash is a pretty hard punishment for such a flaw.

You're welcome.

A fix for this is complicated, because when buildings are placed, they are placed in a special mode without security checks. When the cells are filled, the building is on the map already, so no way to stop there and undo that. And checking this at runtime -- kinda logging each problem -- requires constant checks, which would just be slow.
