So there's this red parts that aren't remap and I've done replacing color and manually recoloring those non-remap red parts into red that can be remapped but it doesn't work.

What am I supposed to do with this?

looks like you forgot some red colors, e.g. check the glowing colors #240-#255 or the reds #6-#8

Though you don't replace colors (if there are so many) by hand.
Create a custom palette, where you replace unwanted colors (using OS Pal Editor) with green or some other unused color.
then press alt+a and do a "Palette Conversion" into the new custom palette or import the raw data png frames again using the custom palette.

You're right. Thanks. I actually missed some non-remap red colors.

Though actually, I managed to fix them by simply just replacing colors of non-remap reds into remap reds.

Maybe replace colour would work?

Unless I am completely missing something, can't this be fixed in the Colour Schemes section?

I'm running 3.38 Beta 15, and under Colour Schemes
Apollo Schemes->Red->RGB Red to Remap (+)
Custom Schemes->Red-> "Red -> Remappable"
Custom Schemes->Others-> Kill (2-15) and (239-255) Colours

ah, yes. they can work too.
Forgot about the color schemes since i never use them due to the many different palettes that are used these days.
I also wouldn't trust these hand made schemes to find the best matching alternative color over some color replacement algorithm when using special palettes for import/conversion.

Yeah the stock schemes are not accurate at all, only mine are fairly precise match since based on algorithmic match I devised.

Of course the schemes are only useful for unittem.pal, when work custom palettes, they are not of any use obviously.

You can always create custom schemes with the OS Palette Editor, which is extremely useful.
