The Hovel is a small habitat structure mass-produced by GDI in order to accommodate the mutant populace. While it was not well regarded for being an ideal home given it's cramp interior and only being equipped with the most basic commodities, it still provided every mutant family with a roof over their heads. Over the years it has been converted by various militias into recruitment centers, training grounds, and living quarters. Constructing one will enable the Chieftain to call upon The Forgotten's warriors into combat as well as granting access to basic base defenses. The more Hovels on the field, the faster infantry are trained.
