Subject description: does unit queue cause instability

I changed unit queue to 300 units and the game seems way less stable than before, crashing much more frequently than when set to 9 units.
Am I imagining this or does having a higher unit queue cause instability?
Does having unit queue on at all increase instability?
Should I play with unit queue off altogether for the highest stability?
Thanks to anyone that can shed some more light on this.

Haven't heard or noticed this before.
If that's really the case, i assume the pretty bugged pathfinding would be to blame for the crashes.

Though anything more than 10 is pretty useless. Once queued up, there is no quick way to remove it again, in case of an emergency where you want a different unit build first.
There's also no shortcut that quickly adds +5 or +10 units to a queue, and all the single clicks take a lot of time away from the more important unit micromanagement.

I doubt the queue can cause crashes, unless there's some limitation for the number of queued units and it crashes when you exceed a certain threshold of queued units. But it shouldn't be random.

Thanks for the replies guys. I tried playing with 100 queue and got much farther before a crash. I then tried with 30,10, and 0 queue, and never got any farther along before a crash than with 100 queue.
It seems that DTA is going to crash no matter what. Oh,I also tried changing the core affinity to a core thats not the first one,and it still crashes. So while it seems it is less stable with a really high queue, it doesnt seem like queue count is the primary cause of instability. Is DTA unstable for everyone else, or is it just my setup?
Are there any recommendations for how to increase stability?

post the crash log in the support & feedback subforum
attach to the post the file except_D_M_Y.txt which you can find in the Client\ErrorLogs subfolder in your main DTA directory.

We're noticed crashes are fairly common with large numbers of AI players and Extreme AI enabled. Without Extreme AI the game runs stably for us, there's an occasional crash but you can complete 90-95% of skirmish matches properly.
