Basically I have only seen IvanBombDamage and EliteIvanbombDamage (not sure if those are the names, but you get the idea)

My idea was to have several types of infantry with different fuse timers, explosions effect and damage...

There is also a single "IvanTimedDelay" flag, and no more can be set.

...but I have seen no way this is possible.

So, can one do it, even with Ares?

If not, it seems like something that could be added... just like custom v3 rockets were, and we had three of them originally to change values around, not just one like in this case.

Imagine a different sub-game, when Engineers defusing bombs is actually relevant, and every side has ivan-bombers of different characteristics.

Well seeing as I had looked for the Ares manual for like 30 minutes before asking myu question and not being able to find it anywhere, you will find its not a problem of me not readong; rather a problem of web design NOT SHOWING A SINGLE LINK TO THE FRICKEN MANUAL!
https://launchpad.net/ares

Even searching "ivan" or even "ivanbomb" on the wiki yields NO results.

Yeah the documents that are nowhere featured in the ares page and that isn't a coherent file with the download but rather various HTMLs...

Because god forbid you navigate a locally stored webpage, Jesus, just load INDEX and click what you need.

Yeah god forbid a 2019 release uses outdated 90's standards... not even the original RA2 manual came in the form of local webpages.

How hard is it to admit "yes, a highly visible link to the 100% necessary to use documentation in the main webpage would be a good idea"?

Because it comes with ARES anyway, and even if it didn't, the online one would be the exact same as the offline one. Also, people are still running ARES on machines with WINXP on them, so yeah, an offline manual in a pretty much universal format, is the way to go.
