Hey there,

I personally wanted to create a chopper with a slow ammo regeneration rate that shoots a temporal beam at an enemy unit/building to put it "in a different dimension" for a little while, making it unable to be attacked for a specific amount of time etc.

Now, making it a "temporary thing" didn't work, so in that case I just wanted the chopper to keep shooting at it and make it stop if it flies away instead.

However, unfortunately the chopper can fly away out of range and the target will remain being chrono'd.

I was curious if anyone knows a way around this, or to replicate it?

If i understand correctly u wanna make temporary chrono beam that will stops by ammo depleting?

Code:

[YourUnit]

Turret=yes/no            ; depends want you or not him to shoot around without facing object it fires
Primary=         ; Weapon
Ammo=         ; Ammo amount
PipWrap=         ; number of pips(More info at ModEnc.com / PipWrap)
Reload=         ; Reload time when ammo isnt depleted
EmptyReload=      ; Reload time when ammo fully depleted
PipScale=Ammo
BurstDelay0=      ;Delay between shots i think must be 5-10 frames (you can also check it out at ModEnc.com)
BurstDelay1=
BurstDelay2=
BurstDelay3=
BurstDelay4=
BurstDelay5=
BurstDelay6=
BurstDelay7=
BurstDelay8=
-etc, as long as it must shoots,  better to be equal to ammo amount IMO.

Burst=9      ;equals to quantity of "BurstDelay"

OmniFire=yes    ;if u wants that your unit can shoot when it turns and moves

I think it will work but im not sure Very Happy
Also you can try Gattling logic, with which I am not familiar.

Yeah, but the thing is, if you shoot the temporal beam once, you can just fly away and the unit will still be in temporal stasis.

Thus even when using the burst method, you can just move away after your first burst and have the same issue.

Would passengers work? How do battle fortress with chrono legion inside behave?
