1) After I installed mappack10, the message box thingy(don't know what it's called) that states the name/price of the units and buildings doesn't show up anymore Sad . I haven't changed any of my game settings. I suspected it was caused by the mappack, but uninstalling it didn't fix the problem. Any idea what caused this?

2) I can't play any maps with snow on them (they cause internal errors). I noticed other people have the same problem, but I haven't seen any way to fix it.

3) How do I get that cool "wintergreen" terrian?

2 and 3 have the same answer... the snow terrain is modded to grass. Only prob is it seems to crash with some ppl.

Make sure you got the very latest version of ROTD, and if you still can't play snow maps, delete the mixfile of the snow theatre. I don't remember which one that is, but it's in the mod's readme file.

It's rotdxp06.mix afaik. Try renaming it to something else (like, rotdxp06.1st) and see if it fixes the problem.

Thanks, it worked. I have RotD installed on two comps, and the sucky one Wink has a partitioned hard drive(a friend was going to throw out the comp, but he gave it to me instead). It doesn't even have a Pent. III. I've been meaning to re-format it and put XP on it. The point of this little story is: when I re-installed TS and RotD(following the dl instructions to the letter), neither worked #Mad . So, I now have a reason for actually re-formatting it.

Oh well, I still have RotD running smoothly on my good comp Very Happy .
