Ok, I'll upload the rest of the music, but not today.

as The DvD said, it's the download size why I didn't put it up yet.
It's ~30-40 MB (without CovOps music and hidden tracks), more than the rest of the mod...

dude, that's about 20 separate files. It's a mess in your TS directory.

of course it's possible, but in this case it would be easier to get xcc mixer and just extract the files from your original C&C scores.mix, since TS uses the same AUDio format, and the support for the files is already built into RotD, so you'd only have to put the extracted files in your TS directory.

uhh... open XCC, then in XCC open the TD scores.mix.

Now, in XCC there are three columns. The middle one is usually closed. You'll see the separator in between the 2 columns you do see are actually 2 separators. Drag it open and you see a second filebrowser.

In that second filebrowser, go to your ROTD diretory. Then, select all files in the TD scores.mix, right-click on one of them and select "copy".

If you have the DOS one, don't copy the 2 files XCC doesn't know the filename of, and for the files of which you got both a .var and a .aud file, copy only the .var one and then rename the .var files to .aud Wink

first , thankyou for the mod

it is wonderful and glorious to be able to play TD again using the TS formatting.  I posted great praise and adulation on the C&C newsgroups.

now to my question

i too would like the full music.  did you say u had it, but it is too large for normal downloading.  i have cable, so i can download

where?

how about the newsgroup:

alt.binaries.games.command-n-conq

while it will remain for only a short time, it can be uploaded and downloaded easily.

thanks again...BTW, i am computer illiterate.  i tried to follow the instructions above about ripping and patching.  all geek to me... (sorry bad pun)...

XCC Mixer is a program that allows you to view the contents of all C&C files and also to convert these files into other formats. It's a sacred tool for TD, RA1, TS and RA2 modders. You can download it at http://xccu.sf.net

I put the music in the TS folder but for some reason they don't show up in the track menu.
They are in AUD format by the way.

You need to make Theme.ini entries, simple enough if you look how it is done in the theme ini. Wink

uhh no Morph... that really isn't necessary.

Besides, Return of the Dawn DOESN'T READ expand**.mix files.
