TINY Red Alert II infantry.

Tyler Adams

I got fed up with up with infantry taller than a goddamned MBT..

So I shrunk them by 50%, to roughly the same size as the original infantry in C&C95.

And.. after a few months.. here it is. Some (all Allied, some Soviet) infantry have snow images, some infantry are recolored, (eg, GI to green cameo, Sniper to a darker brown, ect ect). Some infantry have had time spent on them.

Anyways.. 'nuff talking..

Some people think that uber infantry is retarded. I do.

I wanted something smaller than the TS-sized infantry pack floating around.. so I shrunk 'em myself.

I want infantry that are "life-sized" and not twice the size of the door that the person is entering or bigger than the tank that just ran him over.

I take it that would be my infantry pack. I personally think TS size is perfect for ra2, any smaller and you lose a lot of the detail, bigger and they look out of place. But, i can see the appeal of them even smaller for the realism effect. You should post pictures though, it's rude not too.

The detail is gone.. but the scale is very good, so well done on that.
I too would rather have a realistic scale than detail, but its not to everyone's liking.

In RA2 it might be abit to small, but in TS it might fit in better *starts downloading*

i think the size matters...but i dependes on the resolution you are running the game...
for 1280x1024 like i do the inf just looks to small...but if you play it on 800x600 it should look really nice

I play 1024*768, but I've got a 17' flatscreen monitor, so they're.. larger than the image..

btw, Rico, I released a TD-sized infantry pack a while ago, should be a couple pages back.

The quality of the infantries are very bad. Guess you used Shp Builder to resize them. The quality is much inferior to the Photoshop version.
