Capturing an obelisk

Hello! I'm new here.. uh... no wait... uh... have been lurking in this forum for a long time... I also post at CNCNZ... sometimes...
Anyways I've almost finished working on a map except. I am about to put the final touches. Below is a pic of the remains of a Nod Base. My plan is to make the Obelisk of Light capturable. But I don't know how.... Alternitavely what triggers can I use to take control of it and maybe the gate by capturing the power plant?
P.S. Will the shore remain that way in the game?

To make the Obelisk capturable, you need to open the map in a text editor and add the following to the bottom:

[NAOBEL]
Capturable=true

This should solve your problem. I'm unsure how to solve it through triggers, I don't really have enough experience with them, I'm afraid.

Check 'Recapture Hammerfest Base' (GDI07A.MAP), there's a trigger there.

Thanx for the tips. The trigger was only an alternative if I wasn't able to make the obelisk capturable. Now I'll work on the shores.

I have another question.
I'm working on some other maps and on one of them I plan to make the Obelisk of Darkness buildable by capturing a specific structure, namely the subterranian dwelling seen in the pic below. What is the dwelling's nametag and how can I make it a prerequisite for the Obelisk of Darkness?

its CA0008 or CA0009 - im not sure wich one. as for the obelisk, i dont know the intern name ATM.

however, just add
Code:

[ObelisksInternalName]
Techlevel=X; (X for the tech level it should be available)
Prerequesite=[what u need besides the dwelling],CA0008/9
Owner=GDI,Nod

at the end of the mapfile

this should do it for ya. hmm.. im out of practice -.-
i hope i didnt do some stupid mistakes... just try it!
