Okay.. so when i launch my voxel viewer, my entire windows GUI fucks up, there are missing icons, many standard windows things are missing (such as highlight over buttons, ect), missing text and images in all programs opened afterwards... even after OSVV is closed and proccess ended...

not only that, it causes me to not be able to access my shut down screen, even through CTRL+ALT+DEL...

also, it doesn't load voxels.. at all..

all of this has forced me to cold boot several times...

one more thing.. should it drain 948,038 KB of memory?

Make sure you use 1.75 instead of 1.7. The 1.7 has an ugly memory leak that was fixed in these quick patches.

well... i was using 1.5

I updated to 1.75..

And it did the same thing.. *but this time, it was only when the viewer was open.. last time it affected even after it closed.. now once closed, everything returns to normal*

however, i still cant view the voxel..

I'm trying to view my starship voxel.. It's fairly large..

i dunno what it is tho... Tyler Adams got the images perfectly fine.

My computer specs are this:

AMD Athlon 2600+
1024 MB of RAM
ATI Diamond Stealth 256MB DDRz RAM Video Card
500 GB HDD

Update your video drivers if you haven't already.

Large ships demands large memory. How many voxels does it have? 300k?

I'm sure anything above 150k voxels will be heavy to your machine and the program can't do any miracle, unless you update your RAM + CPU + Video card...

I've tested your voxel here.

My machine is an AMD 64 3000+, 1024mb RAM (I've lost 512mb recently), GeForce 6600 GT 256Mb RAM, Windows XP.

OS VV 1.75's cpu usage was between 5% and 8% and RAM usage was 133mb.

The speed of the voxel was 60fps.

5% of CPU usage is fairly little for voxel viewer, it took 50% of my CPU and i have Intel P4 3.20GHZ...Wonder why? Confused

And Core 2 Duo is best. #Tongue
I doubt its a problem with OSVV, more likely something wrong with your computer...
