I'm still a sort of newbie at this but is there
a way to recolour tiberium and use it in FS?

I was following the guide on how to make this new tiberian(Red)
it did'nt work trying the way on the link.
the tree did'nt show up or the tiberium Confused .
when i try to play the map i edited i had an internal error #Mad (*Sign*).
All i want to do is to have is a White colored Tiberium
i can change the Amount of tiberium in Value myself(and power)
but it messes up my ini files trying to change to the color
(first off i change the Color to red not white),
if this can be done in Final Sun/Sun Edit 2K then please tell me
if u have the time Wink .

1st. there is an edit button

2nd: NEVER USE SE2K It is the Rapist of TS

3nd: you have to open the map in wordpad add in the following. WARNING THE SPELLING MAY BE OFF

Code:
[Tiberiums]
3=Aboreus

[Aboreus]
color=burgandy; this is for a blood red tib if you want white just replace it with white.

yes you can open ini files in word pad the edit button is located below everyone of your posts. use it to not double post.

about the colors. not exactly they are used for remaps and tiberium and menu/tool tips colors. most colors are controlled by palette files and the exe.

ok so in the map's ini files look like this:
Code:
; File Made Smaller By Tiberian Sun FS Map Shrinker v1.2.1 Beta

[Aboreus]
Power=30
Value=100

....................................................
..................................................
..........................................

[Preview]

So do i just add it like:

; File Made Smaller By Tiberian Sun FS Map Shrinker v1.2.1 Beta

[Aboreus]
Power=30
Value=100
Colour=white
?

correct just make sure it is beneath the location of the section that specifies the general characteristics of the map. you still need [TiberiumTypes] with 3=Aboreus underneath it.

its got to look like this:

Code:
[Tiberiums]
3=Aboreus

[Aboreus]
Color=Burgandy
Value=100

and it all has to be beneath anything that looks like this:

Code:
[Header]
Width=75
Height=75
StartX=218
StartY=45
Waypoint1=233,50
Waypoint2=276,57
Waypoint3=276,112
Waypoint4=227,102
Waypoint5=0,0
Waypoint6=0,0
Waypoint7=0,0
Waypoint8=0,0
NumberStartingPoints=4

then add terrian list in the map file. i am not sure how effective that is. though, not even sure if FS will read it as the rules.ini
