Is it possible to extract the shp files from Red Alert 2 then put them into Red alert 1 copying over the old files in the redalert.mix file,

I have extracted a SHP file from RA2 but cannot add it to a mix file.

Ok then could you extract the files from RA2 shp say into jpg or pcx then add the pcx files back into a red alert 1 shp format.

No... those ARE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT - Ra's have around 1000 of frames(at least TD did) while Red Alert 2 has only around 500...

The sequence order is different. And, RA2 infantries have more frames than RA1, because they have swimming sequences and much more stuff.
